Competence is demonstrated for each assignment through relevant subject knowledge, a defined valuation problem, documented research and a report signed by an accountable human appraiser.
Assignment-specific expertise
Before accepting work, we identify the artwork, purpose, intended users and required value type, then determine whether the assignment is within our competence or requires specialist assistance.
Recognised report discipline
Reports use documented controls drawn from USPAP 2024 and the ISA Appraisal Report Writing Standard under Artpraisal's professional and contractual commitment, not as UAE statutory certification. The signing human appraiser applies professional judgment, determines which requirements and procedures apply to the assignment, reviews the evidence, adopts the conclusion and signs the certification; software does not guarantee compliance or make the final value decision.
Evidence and accountability
Conclusions are supported by inspection status, condition evidence, relevant market research, comparable analysis and reconciliation. The signing appraiser is named, supplies a relevant curriculum vitae and remains responsible for the final opinion.
